The three components
Project Performance
60%Average score across every reviewed project. Reviewers grade execution, AI usage, impact, and reflection; the totals are averaged with equal weight per project.
Skill Coverage
25%Number of distinct AI tools you have used at "applied" or higher proficiency, compared to the expected count for your domain and level (3 at Foundation, 5 at Practitioner, 8 at Expert).
Revision Growth
15%Improvement in your score after a revision request. Larger jumps add more — capping out at the original gap. This rewards genuine learning, not just first-attempt skill.

Industry benchmarks
The benchmark drawn on your dashboard gauge represents the average ARI for professionals in your domain who have been using AI tools regularly for 6+ months, based on our 2026 Indian market sample. Benchmarks are level-aware — Practitioner expectations are higher than Foundation, and Expert higher again.

Can a mentor change my ARI?
No. ARI is computed from your reviewed work. Mentors can request a revision (which gives you a chance to raise your score), but they cannot adjust the number itself.
Why did my ARI drop after a low-scoring project?
Project Performance is an average. A low score pulls the average down until you offset it with stronger work or by revising the original submission for a higher score.
Does using more tools always help my Skill Coverage score?
Up to your expected count, yes. After that, additional tools no longer raise the score — the goal is meaningful proficiency, not collecting tool names.
