Cookie Policy
Effective 1 June 2026 · VAI/POL/2026/CP-001 v1.0 · Read together with the Privacy Policy
At a glance
- Nirmaan AI uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used.
- Strictly necessary cookies are always on. Without them, the platform cannot function.
- Analytics cookies are off by default. You can opt in via the cookie banner shown on first visit, or change your choice any time from the cookie preference centre in the footer.
- Marketing cookies are not active at launch. If we activate them later, they will require separate opt-in.
- The detailed cookie list is at clause 5.
This Policy is read together with the Privacy Policy (VAI/POL/2026/PP-001). The Privacy Policy describes how we handle the personal data collected through cookies and other means.
1. About this Policy
This Cookie Policy ("Policy") describes the cookies and similar technologies used on the Nirmaan AI platform operated by Vasudhaiva AI Solutions LLP ("Vasudhaiva", "we", "us", or "our"). It explains what these technologies are, what we use them for, and the choices you have.
This Policy applies to the Nirmaan AI website at nirmaan.vasudhaiva.ai and all sub-domains, mobile web interfaces, and the cookie behaviour set out at clause 5. It does not apply to third-party websites linked from Nirmaan AI; their cookie practices are governed by their own policies.
2. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website operator. Cookies can be "session" cookies (which expire when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (which remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them). They can be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party" cookies) or by a third party ("third-party" cookies).
We use the word "cookies" throughout this Policy to refer also to other similar technologies that operate on the same principle, including local storage, pixels, web beacons, and session tokens.
3. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- To authenticate your session and keep you signed in to Nirmaan AI.
- To protect against security threats such as cross-site request forgery.
- To remember your preferences, including your cookie choices and your interface language.
- To understand how participants use the platform, so that we can improve the programme experience. This is only done if you have opted in to analytics cookies.
- In future, and only with your opt-in, to support marketing or remarketing campaigns. No marketing cookies are active at launch.
4. Categories of Cookies
4.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These are essential for the operation of Nirmaan AI. They include cookies that enable you to log in, navigate the platform, and use core programme features. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent because the platform cannot function without them. You may block these cookies through your browser, but parts of the platform will then not work.
4.2 Analytics Cookies (Opt-In)
These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so that we can measure and improve the performance of Nirmaan AI. They help us know which pages are the most and least popular and see how participants move around the platform. The information collected is aggregated and where possible pseudonymised. If you do not allow these cookies, we will not know when you have visited, but the platform will still work.
4.3 Marketing Cookies (Opt-In; Not Active at Launch)
These cookies, if activated, would be used to deliver marketing or remarketing content tailored to your interests, and to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. No marketing cookies are active at launch. Before any marketing cookie is introduced, this Policy will be updated, the cookie banner will be updated to include a separate marketing-cookie toggle, and existing participants will be notified.
5. Cookies Used by Nirmaan AI
The following table sets out the specific cookies currently used on Nirmaan AI. This list is updated when cookies are added, removed, or changed materially.
| Cookie name | Party | Purpose | Type & duration | Opt-out |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| nirmaan_session | Vasudhaiva (first-party) | Authenticates the participant's session (JWT token). Without this, the participant cannot remain logged in. | Session cookie; expires on browser close or 24 hours, whichever is sooner | Cannot be disabled — required for the platform to function. Blocking will prevent login. |
| nirmaan_csrf | Vasudhaiva (first-party) | Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks during sensitive actions. | Session cookie; expires on browser close | Cannot be disabled — required for platform security. |
| nirmaan_consent | Vasudhaiva (first-party) | Records the participant’s cookie preferences so we do not show the banner again. | Persistent; expires after 365 days | Cannot be disabled — required to remember your cookie choices. |
| nirmaan_lang | Vasudhaiva (first-party) | Records the participant's chosen interface language. | Persistent; expires after 365 days | Cannot be disabled. |
| ph_<token>_posthog | PostHog (third-party) | Records anonymised usage data (pages visited, time spent, feature interactions) to help us improve the platform. | Persistent; expires after 365 days · Analytics — opt-in | Opt out via the cookie preference centre, or disable cookies in your browser. |
| ph_<token>_distinct_id | PostHog (third-party) | Pseudonymous identifier assigned by PostHog to group events from the same browser. | Persistent; expires after 365 days · Analytics — opt-in | Opt out via the cookie preference centre. |
| (reserved) | Third parties (e.g., Meta, Google, LinkedIn) | Future use only. If activated, would support remarketing or conversion tracking. Will appear in the cookie banner with a separate opt-in toggle when activated, and this Policy will be updated. | Marketing — not active at launch | If activated, opt-out via the cookie preference centre. |
Cookies set by our payment gateways (such as Razorpay and Stripe) when you complete a transaction are placed on the gateway’s own domain during the payment redirect or iframe interaction, and are governed by the gateway’s privacy and cookie policies.
6. Your Choices
6.1 Cookie Banner
On your first visit to Nirmaan AI, we show a cookie banner that allows you to accept, reject, or customise non-essential cookies. The banner does not affect strictly necessary cookies, which are always on. The banner does not assume your consent from your continued browsing — you must take an affirmative action.
6.2 Cookie Preference Centre
You can change your choices at any time through the cookie preference centre, accessible from the link "Cookie preferences" in the footer of every page of Nirmaan AI. Changes take effect on your next page load.
6.3 Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings, including the option to block all cookies or to delete cookies that have already been set. The location of these settings varies by browser:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Apple Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies through your browser will prevent core platform features from working, including login. We do not recommend doing so unless you are happy to accept that consequence.
6.4 Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry-standard interpretation of this signal. Nirmaan AI currently does not change its behaviour in response to a Do Not Track signal. We will revisit this position if a standard emerges or if applicable law requires a particular response.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may revise this Policy from time to time. Where a revision is material — for example, where a new category of cookie is introduced or a third-party cookie provider is added — we will give at least thirty (30) days’ notice of the revision by email to existing participants and by a prominent notice on Nirmaan AI. The cookie banner will also be updated to reflect the change. Cookies already set before the change continue to be governed by the version of the Policy in force at the time they were set, until they expire or are deleted.
8. Contact
Questions or grievances about cookies on Nirmaan AI should be addressed to the Designated Partner & Grievance Officer, Mrs. Riddhi Darshil Bhatt, at legal@vasudhaiva.ai, or by post to Vasudhaiva AI Solutions LLP, Office No. 622, 6th Floor, Broadway Empire Building, Bhaily Police Station, Vadodara – 391410, Gujarat, India.
